General Hospital Star Chad Duell Not Happy With His New Job?

According to the latest reports, the actor, who was best known for his role as Michael Corinthos on the hit ABC soap, is set to sta in a new stage play.

Chad will be starring in the play, Yum Yum at Annapolis, alongside actor Zach Mendez. The play is written and directed by Bruce Reisman.

And while this is good news for the actor, who has been out of work for several long months now, this might not be the work that he really, truly wants.

After all, Chad played a legacy character on General Hospital and has managed to become a household name among daytime television fans for his role.

For a lot of soap stars, they usually want to try their hand at primetime television or even the big screen if they can.

Michael even said a few months ago that he wanted to step away from General Hosptial to do something that was a little bit more challenging.

He said, “We will see what happens in the future, but right now, I’m just trying to grow in ways that maybe I stifled myself.”

General Hospital News: What’s Next For Chad Duell?

“Sometimes you have to take drastic steps or make yourself feel uncomfortable to take a step and that’s kind of what I have not allowed myself to do.”

Even with that said, a lot of people are unsure if Chad’s intentions was to go back to the stage when a lot of actors in his shoes want to take one step forward and not two steps back. There’s a good chance that he might even go back to Port Charles with the way things are going.

So far Chad Duell himself has not made any comments about his new role.
