They have known each other since childhood and have been close lifelong friends. Lois told Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) that no one knew about the child Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) gave up for adoption, but she and her daughter did.

However, we suspect Sonny may also know the truth. Does he know that Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is Brook Lynn and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) child?

Lois could have left that little detail out of her story to protect Sonny. Brook Lynn and Dante had a fling in high school, and Brook Lynn got pregnant as a result.

Lois and Brook Lynn decided the best thing to do for the child was to give them up for adoption. It’s entirely possible that Sonny could have been involved in Lois’s decision to make sure Gio stayed close to the family.

It would explain Sonny’s generous actions in which he helped pay for Gio’s college education and even the violin lessons that made him the talented musician he is today.

Gio currently doesn’t know he was adopted, and his adoptive mother was named Camilla. She married a man named Francis Palmieri, who served in Afghanistan.

Sadly, Francis died during combat. Camilla passed away when Gio was ten. Lois contacted Sonny about helping to pay for Gio’s musical training.

Sonny could be aware that Gio is Brook Lynn and Dante’s son. This leads to drama between Brook Lynn and Lois. Potentially, it could cause a rift between Sonny and Dante, providing that Sonny knows the truth.
