‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may dump Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) when she finds out he’s been recruiting Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly Wouldn’t Approve Of Brennan Grooming Joss
Joss has been trying to get justice for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), and Brennan has been helping her conduct some vigilante investigation.
Joss has been chasing leads thanks to Brennan and putting herself in danger by sneaking into Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) hideaway house and snooping around.
Carly’s daughter also outright informed Cyrus he was a suspect in Dex’s murder case when she confronted him at the police station.
Unfortunately, Cyrus didn’t seem to believe Joss’s apology was sincere. Joss saw Cyrus at Bobbie’s, and she told him she was sorry for accusing him of killing Dex.
He lurked outside the diner and stared at her through the window, probably trying to decide how to set her up to go to General Hospital so he could give her a fatal dose of digitalis.
Joss has continued to insinuate herself in situations that could get her murdered. If Carly discovers Jack’s been giving information to her daughter so she can get the goods on Cyrus, she won’t be pleased.
The GH preview for the February 17th to 21st week hints that Cyrus will soon get shot. We have to wonder if it’s Joss who pulls the trigger.
If the Metro Court owner learns how Brennan’s grooming of Joss resulted in her shooting Cyrus, her relationship with Jack may be over before it even starts.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brennan Could Have Gone To Anna With Evidence Proving Cyrus Stabbed Dex
Brennan could have presented Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) with the recording that showed Cyrus was the one who stabbed Dex. He knows Cyrus is dangerous.
Instead, Brennan has Joss running around Port Charles like Nancy Drew, trying to put the pieces together and prove Cyrus murdered Dex.
So far, Joss has taken huge risks and has been playing with fire regarding Cyrus. We empathize with her desire to make Cyrus pay for killing Dex, but the girl is in over her head.
Carly would rightfully be furious if she knew what Brennan was up to with Joss. It’s clear he’s recruiting her for the WSB.
He wants to see if she’d make a solid agent, so he’s testing her skills to find out if she has what it takes to be the next super spy like a young Anna Devane.
If Carly gets wind of Brennan encouraging Joss to investigate Cyrus, she’ll understand why everyone has been warning her about Brennan.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Are Carly And Brennan Doomed As A Couple?
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) advised Carly not to get involved with Jack; Anna reminded Carly that he would kidnap her and told her to “be as smart as you think you are.”
Lucas Jones (Van Hasis) cautioned Carly not to cozy up with a known spy. He thinks that Brennan would keep secrets from her and he’s a dangerous man.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) actually approached Jack, telling him he shouldn’t get too close to Carly. With all these people warning Carly or confronting Brennan, their romance appears to be doomed.
Many fans wouldn’t mind if Carly and Brennan went their separate ways. Charles Mesure has left his role as the head of the WSB and they were a great pair.
Viewers have complained that Carly and Brennan don’t have the sizzling chemistry they had when Mesure played Brennan. Their slow burn and undeniable spark had fans rooting for them to get together.
Jack’s secret guidance of Joss could spell the end of Carly and Brennan. Fans believe that Mesure and Wright had the potential to be the soap’s next super couple. That being said, McKenna deserves an opportunity to make Brennan’s role his own.
