‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Steve Burton, who plays Jason Morgan, wants Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to return and reunite with Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattson).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael Is Positioned To Make A “Shocking Exit” From The Soap
Burton and Bradford Anderson, who plays Damian Spinelli on the soap, have a Daily Drama podcast. Recently, on their show, they spoke with Chad Duell, who is set to leave GH soon.
The three co-stars were having so much fun that they entertained the idea that Michael should be with Sasha. The soap’s co-head writers, Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte, gave TV Insider a 2025 preview.
One of the spoilers is that Jason will be more involved in Sasha’s life when Michael leaves because of a promise he makes to Michael.
According to the powers that be, Michael will make a “shocking exit.” All we know so far is that it will involve an act of violence and perhaps result from a trap he sets up for Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) after he had an affair with his wife, Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
Burton has definite opinions concerning where the story should go and whether Jason should help Sasha raise Michael and Sasha’s new baby.
He wants Chad to return to the soap for a romantic arc with Sasha. Fans don’t know what to make of Duell’s exit, leaving Sasha hanging to care for their brand-new baby.
Sasha has always loved Michael. She even handed him over to Willow to help Michael win custody of Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver). Michael and Willow fell in love, married, and had a daughter named Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko), leaving Sasha out in the cold.

Willow threw away the family she built with Michael to have an affair with Drew. Is Willow’s cheating with Drew and being the new town pariah karma for Willow? Willow was always very judgmental of others and turned her nose up at people she believed she was better than.
Now Sasha is carrying Michael’s child, and they could reunite somewhere down the road. They will if Burton has anything to say about it.
Burton proposed that Duell return to GH and get back together with Sasha. Duell suggested Jason should be Sasha’s new man. He also wants Jason to raise Michael’s baby.
“Why?”
Burton exclaimed.
“I already raised you, I don’t want to raise another one!”
Their playful banter revealed their stark difference in opinion.
Duell also said it would have been interesting if Jason had also been in a prior relationship with Jason, which would make the two men question the baby’s paternity.
Burton didn’t care much about that plot twist.
He jokingly commented,
“I think you should come back next week and just get with Sasha.”
Spoilers predict that Michael’s departure from the soap leaves the door wide open for a Jason and Sasha pairing. Jason stepped up for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) years ago when she was pregnant with Lila.
It’s not hard to imagine he’d do the same as a favor to Michael. However, it’s important to note that Jason and Sam’s epic romance started with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) asking Jason to help raise his child with Sam. Is history repeating itself with Sasha?
